Its 50 acres of sprawling green hills made for the perfect place to construct gallows and many people were executed here - thieves, pirates, Quakers, and accused witches to name a few. Next time you’re walking through the park, keep an eye out for the many spirits who wander along the paths… or the thousands who may be resting beneath your feet!
