Movies: The Karate Kid

Ralph Macchio and Pat Moriata star as the kid and his mentor as young Danny LaRusso is faced with a new life in a new city and it gets off to a rough start with the locals. A story of love, loss, patience, and doing what's right in many ways, the kid and the handyman take a journey that allows them both to learn and for Danny LaRusso to grow through. It's a 1984 classic which has resulted in sequels and even a more recent modern follow up series, so before you see those, re-take the original on Fetch up on your Hisense TV.
