The Voodoo Prosecution vs. the Insanity Defense

Genevieve Lewis and Steven Cornish were brutally murdered while walking on a beautiful beach on the island of St. Thomas.  The murder by machete was brutal, gory and witnessed by many. Daniel St. Clair's defense was, of course, insanity.  The prosecution disagreed stating that his belief in voodoo steered his choices that fateful day.  It's a classic case of Voodoo Prosecution VS.
