Episode description

‘I held still’, she said. Kirby Morel pretended to be dead in order to survive a knife attack on the Appalachian Trail.  She had just witnessed a friend being stabbed to death by the same killer.  She then had to hike 6 miles or 10 kms through the dark to find  help.  She was bleeding profusely, unable to use one of her arms. She tried to use duct tape to patch her injured leg which kept spurting blood, but there was too much.
