Episode description

I’ve played arenas to gazebos; amphitheaters to auditoriums; county fairs to backyard bashes; main stage to truck bed trailer. In all of these venues, the most important thing I did was NOT the music.

Of course, the music IS important. But if you want to perform again in that arena or gazebo, you better make sure you know your role for the gig.  Whether you are a guitar player, singer, stange hand, monitor engineer, or the buddy that came along for the ride; everyone needs stage etiquette.

But what is stage etiquette?  Does it only apply to the band?  Who am I trying to please? Do I have any good or bad stories?  What is “spiking?”  And who let in a drummer for guitar therapy?

Well we will discuss this, and more on this group therapy session with John, on the Tweed Couch.
