A HOME FOR G-D
When G-d created the world, He desired that He have a home in the lower worlds just like He has a home in the upper worlds. Therefore, He created man and commanded him (Genesis 2:16-17), “You may eat from any of the fruit in the garden, but from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, you may not eat.”
Moshiach must come through our efforts. If G d would simply descend from on high, He would never have His home on earth. He would simply transform earth into heaven. Only we can make earth a home for G-d.
