20 Tishrei: You Can't Resist Yourself

YOU CAN’T RESIST YOURSELF In the future, we will see only the knowledge of G-d within everything. Not because the world will be nullified; on the contrary, it is because we will then appreciate the true nature of the world. (Likkutei Sichos, vol. 27 pg. 241) Resistance to Moshiach comes only from lack of knowledge and understanding or the fear of the unknown. To overcome that resistance, we must learn as much as we can about Moshiach. Once we do, two things will become abundantly clear: Moshiach is not something separate from who we are; it is our inner self. Moshiach is not something separate from the world; it is its inner core. Therefore, there can be no true opposition to Moshiach. Any resistance, internally or externally, indicates a weak understanding. How can we measure our level of understanding? The Rebbe advises that if we are not comfortable explaining Moshiach to others, we still have work to do on ourselves. Do you have any unresolved questions about Moshiach?
