Topic for Cheshvan: Working Toward Moshiach.

Transcript

G-D’S CHILDREN You are children to Hashem, your G-d... (Deuteronomy 14:1) A child is an extension of his father. In essence, they are one. Moshiach requires that we reveal the G-dly essence of our identity, where we are one with G-d. So long as G-dliness, Torah, and mitzvos remain separate from us, we do not attach our essence and inner selves to our divine service. Therefore, to bring Moshiach, we must not only learn and understand but also internalize and experience Torah and mitzvos with pleasure and joy, like a son serving his father out of love.
