This mode of spiritual growth is like an airplane. An airplane flies by way of the air rushing under its wings. The resistance doesn’t stop the plane from moving. On the contrary, it makes the plane soar. So too, we must take advantage of the challenges and darkness of exile. We must use them as a springboard, catapulting us toward Moshiach.
