How important is it to be free from a toxic or abusive relationship? The Bible has much to say on this. Let’s study a few passages (i.e., Prov.22, 1 Cor.5, and 2 Timothy 3).
Are you surprised that there are character traits we should watch out for? For instance, did you realize we should avoid hot-tempered people? All for our own good, so we will not become hot-tempered ourselves or suffer their abuse.
It’s imperative victims safely leave a dangerous and habitually toxic environment, and there is professional guidance available for an escape plan! If it’s an emergency, dial 911.
