Latinx & Hispanic Heritage Month

In today's episode hosts Maria Elena Fernandez-Cameron and Anajulia Gonzalez, both vice principals in YRDSB, share their personal experiences as Latinas within the educational system during Latinx Hispanic Heritage Month.

They highlight the formation of the Latin Educators Network, an affinity group within the York Region District School Board, aimed at supporting the Latinx community, promoting culturally relevant education, and creating inclusive environments.
