Episode description

On the inaugural episode of the Redzone Report, Jovan Alford and Harrison Brown will be joined by Chris Shanafelt, who is a small school college football analyst and host of the Chris and D.J. show to preview the 2019 XFL Draft. After a 10-plus year hiatus, the XFL is back, this time to prove that it is not a gimmick, but a viable developmental league. This decade's iteration of the XFL will have eight teams led by commissioner Oliver Luck. The XFL Draft is scheduled to take place on Tuesday (Oct.15) and Wednesday (Oct. 16).  That being said, the crew gave their thoughts on the league coming back and if it can become a viable option for players looking to make it into the NFL. After that, they previewed certain aspects of the draft and what players fans should look out for. Make sure to follow on Twitter: Jovan - @Jovan10 Harrison - @HarryBrownRusso Chris - @ChrisShanafelt
