Episode description

On a special edition of TSL Podcast, Jovan Alford is joined by Matt Brown, Dan Davis, and Keaton Nichols of A Nichols' Worth to discuss the senseless murder of George Floyd by former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin and where does the African-American community go from here.

To begin the podcast, the crew gave their thoughts on the video of Floyd's murder, which not only sparked outrage in the United States but also across the world.

After that, they touched on ways to keep the movement going and what the African-American community can do to affect change. Lastly, Jovan, Dan, Matt, and Keaton talked about New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees' comments on kneeling during the National Anthem and the conversation surrounding athletes and activism.
