Valentino Rossi shone with a stellar performance for BMW, overtaking several competitors and proving to be a highlight of the race. Meanwhile, Kevin Estre in the number 6 Porsche faced a scare when liquid on his brake pedal caused a lockup, but the team managed to recover.
