The Immaculate Conception

The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is a truth revealed by God and defined by His Mystical Body, the Church. Often times, the Virginal Conception of Jesus gets labeled as the Immaculate Conception. The Immaculate Conception refers to Mary being conceived without any stain from Original Sin. Mary also remained sinless for the rest of her life! This teaching is often contested by non-Catholic Christians. Can this teaching be rooted in the Sacred Scripture?
