Dr. Goodwin is an accomplished professional with 18 years of experience in the New York City Police Department, and currently serves as a Detective Investigator and Hostage Negotiator, known for her passion, dedication, and results-driven approach to negotiations, helping individuals and organizations build stronger relationships and develop long-term solutions that yield better results and increase productivity both professionally and personally. She is also an Author and a distinguished individual who has made significant contributions to her community and profession. In 2022, she was awarded the Presidential Lifetime Achievement and she is a Recipient of the 2020 HOPE Award for heroic work in suicide prevention! Yes, she is winning!
