"I GET to" part 3 March 16th, 2025

In this week's message, we dive into the most crucial aspect of generosity—giving our hearts to God. We've talked about giving our finances and our time, but without a surrendered heart, true generosity is impossible.

Jesus challenges us in Luke 12:22-34 to guard our hearts from anxiety and worldly worries, reminding us that we have the power to choose where our focus lies. What we treasure most—whether money, success, or the opinions of others—determines the direction of our hearts and lives.

Through the story of Jericho, we see the danger of clinging to things that oppose God's purpose. Just as Joshua and the Israelites were called to burn what was tainted, we must surrender anything that separates us from God.

Are we giving our hearts to temporary things, or are we fully offering them to the One who gives eternal life? Let’s choose wisely.
