Episode description

In most jobs, a compensation package includes benefits like salary, vacation, and retirement. Similarly, in the Kingdom of God, there are wonderful benefits for His children. In this message, Pastor DaVon highlights what's included in your compensation package, as revealed in Psalm 103:1-5.

Transcript

Open your Bibles to Psalm 103, and we'll read through verses 1 through 5. So good to see you this morning. So good to have everybody online with us. Those that will listen to the podcast later on in your cars, thank you for joining us today as well. Psalm 103, 1 through 5 says, Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things. Somebody say good things. Say it one more time, good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. Over the last several weeks, we've been talking about the goodness of God. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. And we've been discovering how good God is. In the old covenant, there was no real revelation of Satan. So everybody credited, attributed to and blamed God for everything. I mean, if it was good, they said it was God. If it was evil and wicked, they said it was God because the devil took no credit and no blame for any destruction that took place. And so we didn't realize if God was good or not.

I mean, sometimes in the old covenant, they believe God was good and sometimes they believe he destroyed and wiped out folks and all type of craziness. But, and I believe some of that got transferred over until today where a lot of people don't even know if God is good or not. I mean, God is unpredictable, right? We don't know what he will do. He might kill your dog because he needs a dog in heaven, right? That's what some people will say.

I mean, who knows what God's going to do? He's so unpredictable. But Jesus told us in John chapter 10, verse 10, let me explain to you the difference between goodness and the devil. The devil, the thief, he comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus, who was God, said, but I came to give you life and life more abundantly. So there was a line drawn in the sand. If it's good, it's God. If it's still kill and destroy, it's the devil.

And so we understand that God is good. It's not what he does. It's who he is. He's totally good. He's absolutely good. He is goodness in action. God is good. And so I sent a text to a friend a couple of weeks ago, good friend of mine, pastor friend. I said, the Lord has been good to me over the last several months. I just feel like I'm in a season of his goodness. And my friend wrote this back. There's more coming. And when he wrote that back, it just, it activated and instigated something

on the inside of me. Like, you know what? This is not the conclusion of his goodness. There's more goodness coming. Come on, somebody say, there's more coming. Say it like you mean it. There's more coming. There's more goodness coming. And when he said it, I felt like God said that to me. There's more coming. This is not your end all be all, Devon. This is not the conclusion of your goodness, of my goodness towards you. There's more goodness coming. There's more goodness coming.

There's more goodness coming. And in this passage of scripture, I want you to understand the goodness of God. Now, I want to correlate it with a regular position. For example, you have a job, and when you interviewed for the job, they made you an offer, and an offer included some form of a compensation package, right? This offer included some salary, right? We want to pay you $300,000. Come on, somebody say amen to that.

Amen. We want to pay you $300,000 to do this job, and you agree to this $300,000 salary, and so that's part of your compensation package. Also, there might be health and dental, right, in this compensation package. We have these options, and you select which health and dental plan you want. Works best for your family. That's part of the compensation package. And there is also a part of that compensation package. You know, we got to look at sick time and vacation time, right?

Hey, here's some sick time you have for accepting this job. Here's some vacation time you have for accepting this job. And now they have mental health time that you can have for accepting this job. And in some forms of compensation package also has retirement, right? A 401k plan. And if any of you have a 401k plan, please contribute to your 401k plan, okay? Whatever they're matching, at least contribute what they're matching because that is free money that they are given to you.

Please contribute to that plan. Sacrifice getting your hair cut. Sacrifice buying a new dress. Maybe sacrifice a meal or two just to contribute to that plan. When I was at Wycovia Bank, they had one of the best 401k plans that I had ever heard of. They were matching dollar for dollar up to 6%. So you know I was given 6% because I was taking that other free money and matching. So if I gave $50, they were given $50, glory to God. And you were vested 100% as soon as you did it. Hallelujah.

I mean, that was one of the best plans I've ever heard. And I was participating in it. Glory to God. And that money's still working for me today. Amen. So give. If you have that give, that is a benefit of the compensation package. Sometimes the compensation package may include a car, right? Here's a certain type of car that you can drive in this compensation package. Sometimes the compensation package may include an airplane. Come on, somebody.

Somebody say, that's mine. Hey, here's a plane. If you need to get from here to there, use the company plane. It's yours. Somebody say amen. I was thinking about that this morning when that plane was late. I was trying to get to y'all. I was trying to get here to see y'all. And I was like, if I had my own jet today, I would have been here on time. Somebody say amen to that. One day that will happen, glory to God. And it's just to be a tool because the

Lord has need of what we're doing here. true life all over the world. Glory to God. That wasn't a hearty amen. Let me hear a better amen to that. I know you just want me here with you all the time. I'm going to be here, but there's a call for me to be other places as well. Say amen to that. So this compensation package that the Lord has for us is found in Psalms 103.

And let's look at it one more time. The first verse is, this entire five verses is part of the compensation package that the Lord has for you and I. He says, bless the Lord, O my soul. He's telling his mind, will, and emotions, we will give thanks to the Lord. We will bless the Lord, O my soul. And then he says, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Everything within me, we are going to bless the Lord. Verse 2, he says, bless the Lord, O my soul, and this is important, and forget not all of his benefits. This word benefits is the word compensation. Compensation, advantage. Forget not all of his compensation or advantage. Forget is something that we easily do. I sometimes forget to turn the dishwasher on, right? Easy things we do. Oh, I forgot to cut the light off. I forgot to close the garage when I left the house.

Oh, did you run by the store, Devon, to pick up that milk that I asked you to get? Oh, I forgot. I'm already home. I forgot. We forget so easily. And the Lord's commended us here to forget not. Or you could say it this way, remember the compensation package. Forget means to dismiss from your mind, to draw a blank, to escape from your memory, to let slip from memory, to lose consciousness of, to lose sight of, to think no more of, or to be unable to recall. And we do this very easily.

We forget things all the time. And the Lord's commanding us here to remember the compensation package. Don't forget the package that I have provided for you. If you look at verse 3, he says here in Psalms 103, verse 3, here's part, the first part of the compensation package, who forgives all your iniquities. Come on, somebody say amen to that. He forgives all your iniquities. Now, here's the cool part about this compensation package is open enrollment occurs every single day. Come on, somebody.

Open enrollment never closes, right? You can enroll in this compensation package at any time. We ain't got to wait for November. We can enroll at any time into this compensation package. Amen. And the first benefit of this compensation package is all of your iniquities, which is your sins. Are forgiven. Come on, somebody. I said all of them are forgiven. I said all of them are forgiven. I said all of them are forgiven.

All of them are forgiven. Any mistake you've made in the past, any misstep, any willful disobedience, any rebellion, if you are repentant, it has been forgiven. All you have to do is have a heart of repentance. Lord, here I am. Here's what I've done. I need to access step one of the compensation package. Forgive me all of my sins. Somebody say all. Every sin that you have committed. I remember when I was a kid, I used to pray the seen and unseen sins. Just forgive them all, you know?

I mean, you just, the sins I know I committed and the sins I didn't know I committed. Lord, please forgive me all. And he says in this compensation package, all of it has been forgiven. I like the man in Mark chapter 2, the paralytic, they let him down. You remember the story through the roof of Peter's house? Some people believe Jesus was living in this house. I might teach on that Jesus lived in a house. He was not homeless. Okay?

That theology bothers me to the core to think that Jesus was homeless while you're living in a 3,000-square-foot house. Come on, somebody. Okay? Jesus had a house, and I'll talk about that later. Okay, that's another message. So they let the paralytic down through the roof. Do you remember the first thing Jesus said to the man when he was laid down through the roof? The very first thing Jesus said, he says, son, your sins are forgiven.

Glory to God. He don't know. Jesus knew what that man did. I don't know what that man did. That man could have been one of the worst people ever. But the first thing Jesus said to him is, all your sins are forgiven. Glory be to God. And soon as he received the forgiveness of the sin, he received his healing right then. Do you know that some sicknesses, let me say it the way I heard it this weekend. It was powerful.

E.W. Kennan said that someone quoted him and he said this weekend, all sickness is spiritual. Man, I heard that, and that erupted on the inside of me. All sickness is spiritual. But Jesus says, my words are spirit, and they are life. So the words of Jesus can get rid of the spirits of sickness. Glory be to God.

Come on, somebody. You better get this today. When he said that all sickness is spiritual, it made me think that some sickness is attached to you not receiving forgiveness in an area of your life. You know, you're going to have to forgive yourself. You're going to have to forgive yourself. There are some things that I have done, and I'm going to tell you one silly one that just happened this week. I'm just free today. I'm just talking. I'm excited.

I've only had two hours of sleep, all right? And so I had to come see y'all. I missed y'all so much. And so this weekend, this pastor comes up to me, and I met him the night prior, and this time he brings his family. And the family comes up, and beautiful family, and he introduced me to his wife and two daughters. Sierra, I was like, yes, they're so good to meet y'all. And when the service started, the two daughters were just worshiping and praising the Lord,

and they looked so young. I'm like, glory to God, the teens, they're just worshiping the Lord. It's amazing. And afterwards, I was on the front row there, and they came over and talked to me, and I pulled the two girls. I said, teens, it is so good. That you're worshiping the Lord like this. It does my heart great. You keep worshiping the Lord. They said, yes, sir, yes, sir, yes, sir. And then the Lord said, ask them how old they are. I said, how old are y'all? 25. I was so embarrassed.

25 years old. I thought they were 14. I was like, I am embarrassed. I'm sorry. They said, oh, no big deal, no big deal. It's all fine. The mom was laughing, and no big deal, no big deal. And so I went to bed that night, and I was still mad at myself, like, Devon, forgive yourself. Move on. 25 years old. I thought they was 14. The father texted me this morning. He said, man, it was so good to meet you this morning. And I said, man, I don't know if you heard the story, but I told your daughters.

He's like, no, they need to embrace that. It's good to look young that somebody thinks they look young, you know? And, you know, Zai, she's 21 and she looks like she's 12, you know? And so I get it, I get it, I get it. So I laid in the bed and said, I forgive myself, I forgive myself. You're going to have to forgive yourself. And a lot of problems that you could be having is because you haven't forgiven yourself. You got to forgive yourself. The Lord's forgiven you. You got to forgive yourself.

Say, I forgive myself. Say that. Yeah, I know you probably shouldn't have done that. You probably shouldn't have looked at that. And you probably shouldn't have read that. And you probably shouldn't have said that. But forgive yourself. And the first part of this compensation package is realizing that God has forgiven you. Get this, past sins, present sins, and future sins. Now, some people are arguing about that, but Jesus died on the cross over 2,000 years ago, and I'm in the future, okay?

So my sins are forgiven. So he forgave my sins before I ever arrived on the scene. Come on, somebody say amen. All I had to do was accept it, receive it, and say, thank you for forgiving me. Put that next verse on the screen, guys. It's in Isaiah, I believe it's Isaiah 43, 25. Isaiah 43, 25. Watch this. I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.

God is not remembering your sins. You remember your sins, but God's not remembering your sins. And if you go to God with, oh gosh, Lord, forgive me. I can't believe I did it. He'd be like, what are you talking about? I've already forgotten about it. And so should you. Somebody say amen. Hebrews chapter 8, verse 12. Hebrews chapter 8 verse 12. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness and their sins and their lawless deeds. This is rebellion.

I will remember no more. Glory be to God. Somebody shout about that. Hallelujah. I will remember no more. God's not remembering your sins. Hallelujah. That is good news right there. He's not remembering my sins. Now, Pookie and Ray Ray might remember your sins, but God's not remembering your sins. Hallelujah. Forgiveness is not dependent on what you do, but on what Jesus has done for you. Let me say it again. Forgiveness is not depended upon what you do, but on what Jesus has done for you.

So the first, the first benefit of your compensation package is God forgives not one, not some, but all of your sins. Say this after me. Thank you, Father, for forgiving all my sins. The second part of this benefits package, Isaiah, I'm sorry, Psalms 103, let's pull it up again, verse 3, Psalms 103, verse 3. The first part, he forgives all of your iniquities. The second part, he heals all. Somebody shout, all. Some of y'all ain't saying nothing. Let me say it again. Somebody shout, all. All.

There we go. Your disease. You say, Pastor, I mean, why don't you get on us for not saying anything? Because your blessing is voice activated. it. You're going to have to use your voice and your troubles, your mountains have to hear your voice speak to the mountains. It can't just be my voice. Now, my voice is good to encourage you to use your voice, but I want to give you something to say. So you're here. You might as well participate.

You might as well. Might as well join in and participate because we're going to get free today. Amen. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Now watch this. He heals all. Somebody say all. All. Your diseases. Every last disease. There is not a disease that the Lord will not heal. The man says there's incurable diseases, but the Lord says he heals all. Somebody say all. All. I mean, I don't care if they come up with some new disease. That falls under all. Thank you.

I don't care if they create a disease in the laboratory. That comes under all. Amen. All. All. All my disease. All. All diseases. All diseases. Disease means dis-ease. And if I'm not in comfort, then I need to get rid of that, praise God. And I can get rid of it because the Lord heals all your diseases.

Matthew 4, 23. Matthew 4, 23, and Jesus went about all Galilee teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. How many diseases did he heal among the people? How many sicknesses did he heal among the people? All of them. All of them. Well, I hear people, well, the Lord, you know, the Lord told me he's not going to heal me. You're not going to find one scripture. There's no scriptures that say

that. But I'll show you tons of scriptures that say he healed them all. All. Every last one of them. All of them. All of them. Now, if someone dies of a sickness or disease, I believe they were ready to go home. And that's perfectly fine. That is their choice. That is their prerogative. They can go home whenever they're ready to go home. I remember precious Christine, Robert's wife, she told Robert, I'm ready to see Jesus. And we have to respect that. We got to respect it. And we let her go,

did we not, Robert? We let her go see Jesus and we'll see her soon, will we not? And so she said, I'm ready to go see Jesus. Go on, girl. Go see Jesus. And guess what? She ain't dealing with that mess no more. Amen. Glory be to God. Matthew 15, 30 in the New Living Translation, Matthew 15, 30, a vast crowd brought to him people who were lame. These people couldn't walk, blonde, they couldn't see, crippled, moving slow.

Those who couldn't speak, they couldn't even talk. And many others, they laid them before Jesus and Jesus said, it ain't my will to heal none of y'all. Is that what he said? It said he healed them. How many? All. Every last one of them left healed because part of your benefits package is healing of all sickness and all disease. Somebody shout amen. Disease can be in your body, but don't let it get in your heart. Disease can be in your body, but don't let it get in your heart.

Healing is in your heart, and you are producing health from the inside out. You are not the sick trying to get healed. You are the healed resisting sickness. Glory be to God. Say this out to me. Father, thank you for healing all disease. And be careful to call it my disease. Get rid of the old, I got this disease, it's mine. It ain't yours, it's from the pit of hell.

Send it back, just say return the sender. I remember I got, years ago I was in Bible school and someone said, if you get sick, say return the sender. And I remember back then, I don't know if we still do it today, I used to write on the envelope when you got the mail that was, I don't know who that is, Billy Bob. I don't know Billy Bob. I would write, return the sender, stick it back in the mail. I thought, man, that's a good visual for me. So some sickness tried to come

here. I said, this ain't mine. Return the sender in the name of Jesus. Come on, somebody shout. Amen. Number three of our benefits package. Let's look at Psalms 103 verse 4 and we'll see number three. Who redeems your life from destruction. Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies. Number three, he redeems your life. That word redeems means he purchased, recover, or buy back.

Purchase, recover, or buy back So he took your life and purchased you Not with silver or gold, but with his precious blood You have been bought with the price, Listen, I want you to hear me say this You don't own your body God owns your body He purchased your body, I want you to consider this because you're sitting up all night eating them Twinkies. God don't want you to eat them Twinkies all night. Come on, I ain't scared of y'all.

I am not scared of y'all. He don't want you up eating them Twinkies. He owned your body. This is one thing I think about when I don't want to work out. I was like, God owns my body. And he wants me to live long and strong. I need to jump on this treadmill even though I don't want to. I need to go for a run, even though I want to, because God owns this body. Amen. He don't want no cigarette smoke in the body. Come on now. He got quiet up in here.

He don't want no cigarettes in the body because he wants your lungs strong so you can breathe. He wants you here as long as he needs you to be here, and the enemy wants to get you out quicker. So what he'll do is he'll attack your body. And God said, I want you here And the enemy's attacking your body And now we got a fight going on That we probably should have never even been fighting Are you listening to me today? And I'm talking to myself too.

Hebrews chapter 9, verse 12. Hebrews chapter 9, verse 12. With his own body, not the blood of goats and calves, he entered the most holy place once and for all and secured our redemption forever. Our redemption is secured forever. He redeems you from eternal damnation. Glory to God and saves your life. Galatians chapter 3, verses 13 and 14. Galatians chapter 3, verses 13 and 14 says, Christ has redeemed us. He purchased us. He bought us from the curse. What are we redeemed from?

The curse, a debilitating negative spiritual force. We've been redeemed from the curse, having become a curse. He became a curse for us. For his written curse is everyone who hangs on the tree. Why did Jesus die on the cross? So that he could take the curse away.

He could have died by arrow shot the blood still the same it wasn't about an arrow shot him and the blood he had to get on the cross so he could take the curse away from us glory be to God that the blessing somebody shout the blessing, of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles as you and I in Christ Jesus that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith we have been redeemed in Jesus' name. He redeemed you from the curse and gave you the blessing. You are blessed. You are blessed.

You are blessed. You are blessed. I'm trying to see who's going to really get this. You are blessed. Because it's voice activated. You can just sit there and you're blessed. You're blessed. Man, there There was some words that was spoken over this weekend, and they weren't even for me. And I was just over and said, that's mine. I'll take that too. One man got a word that he was going to be a 10 million. I said, he was standing next to me. I just started touching him like, that's mine.

If you don't want it, I got it. You know, I'll take it. Now, he was bent over like this, so he wanted it, okay? He received that thing. And so I said, I'll take that too. Praise God. Now, listen, when the word's getting broadcast, it's just seed. Broadcast means there's seed that's being thrown. When a farmer is broadcasting seed, he is picking a handful of it up and throwing it. Well, when I'm preaching this word, I'm just throwing it. And whoever gets a

hold of it is who is going to grow for it. Amen. I said you're blessed. Say I'm blessed. That means you're empowered to prosper. No longer do you have a curse on your life, a curse that empowers you to fail. No, you're blessed. You're empowered to prosper. That's number three in the benefits package. He redeems your life and he gave you the blessing. And number four, let's take a look here. He crowns your life. Psalms 103 verse four, if you don't mind, put it on the screen.

Thank you. You guys are awesome. Who redeems your life from destruction? Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies? This is part of my benefits package. I am crowned. That word crowned means I'm surrounded with loving kindness and tender mercies. God is not mad. He's not even in a bad mood. Amen. He's not even in a bad mood. He is surrounding you with loving kindness and tender mercies. Glory to God. We've been quoting Psalms 23, verse 6.

Surely goodness, somebody shout goodness, and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord. How long? Forever. He's surrounding me with goodness and mercy even in the future. While it looks scary and doom and gloom and some people are scared and afraid of the future, I get it. The future's unknown, right? I understand that there might be a temptation to be afraid because we don't know what's going to happen in the future. What about AI?

I don't know what's going to happen? What about this and that? What's going to happen? I know it's going to happen for me and mine. We're going to be surrounded with loving kindness and tender mercies. Come on, somebody say amen. His divine care includes love, goodness, and mercy. How many of you are good parents out here? You feel like you're good parents? You take care of your children, do you not? You want something good for them, right? That's how the Lord...

He wants something good. He wants to take care of you. My kids don't have to worry about what they're going to eat today, tomorrow, and five years from then. They're not even thinking about it. They're hungry all the time, but they're not thinking about because Dad is surrounding me with some good food. Amen. And so, understand that you are surrounded with and crowned with loving kindness and tender mercies. Number five, Psalms 103 and verse five says, who satisfies your mouth with good things.

Now, this word mouth is an interesting word. It means life. If you look at the totality of the definition of this Hebrew word, it means he satisfies your life. But one definition that I love means that he will adorn and he will deck out. Your life is being adorned and decked out. While I was in Detroit, our family put up the Christmas tree and Stacy sent me a picture of it. And that tree has been adorned and decked out. And I looked at that tree and I was meditating on this. And I thought,

God wants to adorn your life and deck you out. Glory be to God. I know we had an image of God taken from us. And he going to take. And when he takes it, you're going to be poor. No, no, no, no, no. My parents took a vow of poverty. They said it. They didn't know no better.

They said to be close to God You had to be poor Because you know what I'm talking about Poverty is close to godliness That's not in the scriptures by the way, And they took a vow of poverty, and my mom finally realized, she said, I rebuke that in the name of Jesus. God wants to deck you out and adorn you. Amen. It's okay to have some nice stuff. He said, put it back on the screen there if you don't mind, Psalms 103 verse 5.

It says here that he satisfied your mouth, you could say your life, with good things. What is a good thing? It's a good thing. A good thing is a good thing. What is a good thing to you? It's a good thing. And he's going to satisfy it. Hallelujah. With good things. We've been talking about the goodness of God, and he wants you to have some good things. Glory be to God. Some good stuff that you can enjoy. Second, Timothy tells us that he has given us all things to enjoy.

And here's how you know if you own it or if it owns you. There's a difference. Can you give it away? Can you give it away? We were in Detroit this weekend. We went to the Detroit shop to see the Detroit Lions, who are pretty good, by the way. and if you don't watch out, I might drop them cowboys. Oh, don't worry. No, I'm going to stick with them for now. And we saw all the jerseys, and I used to have a Barry Sanders jersey.

Someone had given it to me, and man, it was nice. But the Lord told me to sew it to someone else. And I saw a Barry Sanders jersey in there, and I was like, I remember I sewed my jersey to somebody. That was a good thing that was given to me. It was a good thing that I sewed. And then I got a little sad because I really wanted the jersey back. And I could hear Stacy's voice, just buy another jersey. I didn't do it, praise the Lord. But I started thinking, you know, I sold that jersey.

And I'm believing that God's going to satisfy me with some good things. Come on, somebody say amen. Some good things. He wants to satisfy you with some good things. John chapter 10, verse 10 in the Amplified Classic says, The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance to the full till it overflows. Hallelujah. Glory be to God. I'm coming against the thinking that we've got to be poor.

We don't have to be poor anymore. Jesus came to preach the gospel to the poor. What was the gospel to the poor? Good news that you don't have to be poor anymore. Come on, somebody say amen. You don't have to be poor anymore. And so he wants to satisfy your life with good things. He wants you to enjoy good things. And when you have good things to enjoy, you have good things that you can give away. Not no junk, some good stuff, Wayne, that you can give away. Not no mess, some good things.

We're supposed to walk around Wednesday night midweek booths, walking around doing good works. Walking around dispensing good unto others. Well, how can I do that if I'm poor? How can the poor help the poor? Somebody's got to have something To help somebody that doesn't If you agree, say amen Psalms 91 16, With long life I will satisfy him Somebody say long life And show him my salvation Long life What is long life? For however long you want it to be.

What are you talking about, pastor? Well, he says that we'll be satisfied. Well, I'm not satisfied yet. Okay, so I still got some time here on the earth. Amen. Well, what happens if the enemy tries to take you out early? Well, we read that he going to satisfy me with long life. I'm going to take his word literally. Literally. And 47 is not long life to me. Amen. And so I'm going to be satisfied with long life, and he's going to continue to show me his salvation.

Shout this out to me. Thank you, Lord, for satisfying my life with good things. And let's look at the last one, Psalms 103, verse 5, last one in the compensation package, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. I encourage you to do a study on the eagles. I did one recently. It is so enlightening. Eagles grow stronger with age. And watch this. And so do you. Hey, do you believe that? Yes, I'm getting stronger the older I get.

I saw this reel on Facebook and it was funny. And this real, or Facebook, Instagram, social media, TikTok, it was one of them. And this real, this man was walking, and the beat was, and then he would walk, and his leg would do this. He would say, ow. And then it said, this happens after you turn forward. And he would walk around, and then his head would go, he was like, ow.

And then I thought, and I laughed because it was funny, but we laugh and we get older and we just say, our body's just going to break down. I'm just getting older and my body's going to break down. My knee, my knee, I'm old, you know, and my knee, my back, my back, because I'm old. The scriptures say we're supposed to be renewed. I'm preaching better than y'all saying amen. Y'all might get this when you wake up in the morning. But the scriptures say I'm supposed to be getting stronger.

I'm supposed to get some new strength, new vitality, new energy. New passion, new health in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. I said, hallelujah. I said, hallelujah. I'm supposed to be getting stronger as I get. Now, I know the doctors say this and that. I went to the doctor. I go every year. I encourage you to go once a year as well. And, well, you know, at your age, you know, you got to look at this and that. Thank you, doctor. I respect everything you're saying.

But my youth is being renewed like the eagles. Now, I'm not going to drink soda all day. Okay? I'm going to drink some water and I'm going to do exercise. I'm going to do the things I need to do. But I'm going to also put the spiritual and enact the spiritual as well and say, my youth is being renewed. Say that. My youth is being renewed. God will renew your physical body in such a way that there will be no weariness,

tiredness or health problems. Amen. Amen. No weariness, tiredness or health problems. I told Stacy when I flew in, I said I'm going to land in the morning. I'm going to go home, get a quick shower and I'm going to go straight to church and I said, I'm not going to be tired. She said, no, you're not going to be tired. I said, I'm not tired. She said, you're not tired. Now tonight I'm going to bed. Right now I'm not tired. I'm not tired yet. Remember that song? No. All right.

But I'm not tired because he's renewing my youth like the eagles. Declare this after me. I am being renewed with divine strength. Isaiah 41.10 says, Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I've been saying that all week long. I am being strengthened. I am being strengthened. I am strong. He says, yes, I will help you. I will uphold you. I will uphold you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

I'm being strengthened. My youth is being renewed like the eagles. I'm strong. Anytime I feel tired, the temptation is to say, Josh, I'm tired. But I reverse it and say, I'm strong. I'm strong. How you doing? Well, I'm just so tired. And the more tired you talk, the more tired you'll get. Your body is listening to hear what your mouth is saying in order to function. James chapter three, verse two says your mouth can control your entire body.

So your body is literally listening for what is the command center going to tell us? So the command center says we're strong. Well, we got to get strong. We got to get strong. Command center keeps saying, we're tired, we're tired, we're tired, we're tired. Then we'll break it down, break it down, break it down, break it down, break it down, break it down. And next thing you know, oh, my kidneys are broken down and my liver. And it's all broken down because this is what I've been saying.

I've been breaking it down. But I'm strong. I'm strong in the Lord and the power of his might. My youth is being renewed like the eagles. I'm going stronger day by day. The Lord is strengthening me. I know that hurts, but God is healing me even now because it's in my compensation package. Hallelujah. I'm getting stronger and stronger. And when you remember, the Lord told us, remember this package. It's easy to forget. Remember this package. When you remember it, you invoke it.

And when you invoke the package, you will start reaping the benefits of the package. And this compensation package is yours forever. This is how you experience true life.
