Introduction to Genesis Chapter 1

Open your Bibles to Genesis chapter 1 and meet me at verse 26, and I'll read through to verse 27. Genesis chapter 1, verses 26 through 27. And the word of the Lord says, Then God said, let us make man in our image according to our likeness. Let them, somebody shout, let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Look at verse 27.

Then God created man in his image. In the image of God, he created him. Male and female, he created them. I was doing some thinking this week, and I was considering how challenging life is. Life can be very challenging. How many of you know that life can be difficult and life can be hard and life can be stressful and life can really, really be a challenge. And I was thinking in terms of some areas that people have been challenged in.

I mean, number one in the financial area, life can be challenging in that financial realm where you have inflation happening and prices of things are going up, and the value of the dollar seems to be going down because cost of everything else is really going up, and people have challenges in their health. I mean, you have challenges with your physical body, challenges with your mindset. There are challenges occurring in relationships.

Relationships are hard. Relationships are difficult and challenging, and so relationships have been challenged, and then there's challenges in your career. Right? You have career challenges taking place, and many of you are parents. I mean, that's a challenge to raise children. I don't care how old your children are. There are challenges where parenting is concerned. There's challenges in families to where you have in-law concerns and cousins and sisters and aunts and uncles and nieces.

I mean, there's challenges across the board. And let's not forget there may be social challenges and environmental challenges and all type of challenges that takes place in life. And today the Lord gave me a word for you that I believe is specifically tailor-made for you today.

Everyday Power

And I'm titling this message, Everyday Power. Everyday power because of all of the challenges that we face. We take a look here in Genesis chapter 1 verse 26, the Lord says, let us make man. Now us is the three part of the Godhead, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He's saying, let us make man. Now man Man is not the male. Man in this verse is the spirit, the human spirit. And so God says, let us make the human spirit.

Let us create the human spirit after our spirit, after our likeness, in our resemblance, a replication of our spirit. And so God created the human spirit like the spirit of God. Just like the spirit of God, he created the human spirit. And then he said, let the human spirit have dominion over the entire earth. Now, listen to me now. God has given the human spirit the ability to have the right to command. They have the right to control. They have the right to determine.

They have the right to choose. They have the right to delegate. God gave it to the human spirit. The dominion and authority over the earth was given to man over the beasts of the field, the earth and all the other creeping things of the earth. Notice, though, he did not give dominion to man over man. He didn't give dominion to man over man. He gave dominion to man over the earth. And he put his spirit, like his spirit, on the inside of, verse 27, the male and the female.

And so spirits have no genders. Let me say it again. Spirits have no genders. Anytime you hear someone say, I am a female trapped in a male's body, that is incorrect. correct. Now, we should try to educate and help them because they're confused, they're deceived, and something has not connected, right? Because there is no female spirit. There is no male spirit. Males and genders only, I'm sorry, genders only come through the function of males and females.

And so God put his spirit, the spirit of man, inside of a male, and he put his spirit, the spirit of man inside of a female. And he said, the male and the female together should dominate the earth to have authority over the earth. And so God has put his power on the inside of each and every male and female.

And in Genesis chapter two and verse seven, listen to this Genesis chapter two and verse seven, it says, and the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathe into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being. Now, the Genesis chapter one is the description of creation and Genesis chapter two is the explanation of it.

So how did he do it? He created man and he created the human spirit and then he created the man, the human, and And then he created them male and female. Then he put his spirit in them. And then when he gave them life, he blew his breath.

The Breath of Life

Wind, spirit, life into humanity, and we are breathing because God taught us how to breathe. We are alive today because God taught us how to live. He gave us his life. He gave us his breath, his wind, and his spirit. Now, I'm working on something. I want you all to stay with me. If we go to John chapter 19, and let's, no, no, John chapter 20. I'm sorry, guys. John chapter 20, and we'll start in verse 19.

Jesus Gives the Holy Spirit

John chapter 20, verse 19. Watch this. Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the mist and said to them, peace be with you. Now let's pause right here for a second, guys. The same day at evening means resurrection day. So at this point, Jesus has risen from the dead. He was dead. He was buried. Now he's alive.

He showed up on the same day now that he rose and appeared to the disciples. They were in there with the doors locked, but he appeared to the disciples and he says, peace, because they were full of fear at this point. Peace be with you. Look at verse 20. When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side, let them know who he was, infallible proofs. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. Look at verse 21.

Then Jesus said to them again, peace to you as the father has sent me, I also send you. And I want to look at verse 22. And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, receive the Holy Spirit.

So we see two actions take place here in genesis 2 god breathed on adam and he said to him or he gave him life when he breathed into his nostrils in this passage of scripture we see jesus breathing on his disciples and giving them the holy spirit now i'm gonna come down for a second because i I want to talk to you about this. This is vitally important that you understand that with this experience, the disciples received salvation. So it wasn't the same type of

life that Adam received. Adam received life and he became a living soul. When Jesus said, receive the Holy Spirit, the new birth took place. They followed Jesus, but they were unsaved because Jesus had not died, was buried, or resurrected. The disciples were unsaved men that were following Jesus, but they loved him and they followed him and they obeyed his commands, but they did not have the Holy Spirit. They did not have salvation. But as soon as Jesus rose, he went directly to his people.

That's one thing I love about Jesus. He did not leave them alone or abandoned. He went directly to his people, and he gave them salvation with the Holy Spirit.

Now, when you give your life to the Lord, and you follow Jesus, and you say, I believe, and I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and I believe in my heart God raised him from the dead, and then you have fruits of repentance as you are following Jesus, you have with you on the inside of you the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is in you for you he's a gift he is God in you they imagine for a moment those of you that have given

your lives to the Lord God lives on the inside of you just Just contemplate that for a second. On the inside of you is God. Not a little bit of him, not a replica, but you have God himself in the form of the Holy Spirit on the inside of you.

When you think about this reality, you have to consider, why am I so fearful when God lives on the inside of me why am I so worried, when God lives on the inside of me why am I so depressed when God lives on the inside of me why am I so flabbergasted when God lives on the inside me and then you got to get to the point why am I still in pain when God lives inside of name the same spirit romans 8 11 the same spirit that raised jesus from the dead lives in you.

He dwells, he abides, he resides in you. And so whenever sickness and disease or whenever torment tries to attack me, man, I stand up and say, God lives on the inside of me. And you can't stay on the inside. Whatever's going on, you got to go because God lives here. Come on, somebody say amen to that. You got to know who you are and who lives in you. So inside of your spirit, you are a spirit. You have a soul. You live in a body. You are a spirit.

You have a soul. Your mind, will, emotions, thinker, chooser, filler, decision maker is your soul. And you live in this body, which is temporary, right? It's here today and could be gone tomorrow, right? This is your body. Your body is the temple of your spirit and your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives in you. So when Jesus said, receive the Holy Spirit, immediately they got God on the inside of them, living, dwelling, residing on the inside of you.

I was thinking about my cell phone. Let me grab my cell phone real quick. I was thinking about my cell phone because... This is an expensive device. You know this, right? All y'all have one, so I know you know it's expensive. And this cell phone, this is an iPhone 14, I think. They got a new one. I wait. I don't always get the new one. I always just wait till this one don't work no more. Then I get a new one. And I used to be really, I used to really enjoy the BlackBerry.

How many remember the BlackBerry? Man, that was me. I was into the BlackBerry. That was my device there. And Stacey wanted the iPhone 4 and I remember I was like no we Blackberry people you know this was many years ago Sierra maybe before you were born yeah oh you remember okay.

And she went I said no we gotta stick with the Blackberry she said I want the iPhone 4 I bought her the iPhone 4 and when I saw the iPhone 4 at the time it was the 4 when I saw it I thought I need one of these iPhone 4s got rid of my Blackberry it's obsolete now and you know now Now the iPhone just continues to produce phones. Well, or Apple continues to produce iPhones. Well, I started to realize there's so much about this phone that I don't know.

There's a lot that I do know, but they'll send you tips. How many of you get some tips about your phone? And you're like, wow, the phone can do that? And you look at all these tips. And then I'll start implementing the tips, and I think I know a lot about it, until another tip comes out. And I'm like, the phone can do that too? And I'll implement that tip into my life and then another tip will come out. And I started realizing there's so much this phone could do.

I haven't even scratched the surface of what this iPhone can do. And I started thinking about, Kurt, how the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of us. There's so much he can do. and we haven't even scratched the surface. Of what he can do through us. He doesn't want to do it without you. Now, this is the part I got to get you to say, I'm waiting on God. God's saying, I'm waiting on you because I've orchestrated everything to be accomplished through you.

I've got to you. He's chosen to use males and females, humanity to get the work done. And so we've got to start breaking out of our mental limitations and start considering there is more on the inside of me than I even realize. There is more that God has deposited in me than I even know. No, and this is why I believe believers have to renew their mind to the teaching of the word of God. You know, faith comes by hearing and hearing about the word of God.

If you studied it out, that really means faith comes by hearing the preached word of God. It doesn't necessarily come by reading the Bible. It comes by hearing someone unknowing it preach the Bible to you so you can see things that you've never seen before.

Now, that doesn't mean don't read your Bible. please read your Bible because the more familiar you are with the Bible the more familiar you'll be with the voice of God the more familiar you'll be with sound good doctrinal teaching okay and so but faith comes by the preach word and so the preacher's job this is why hearing preach messages are important the preacher's job is to enlighten and reveal to you who you already are you're not not trying to get something from God. You already have it.

You're now trying to unlock it. You're trying to activate it. You're trying to instigate whatever God's placed on the inside of you to get all of it out of you so that then you can do what God's called you to do. Come on, somebody say amen. So the disciples received the Holy Spirit at that point and the Holy Spirit resided and resides guides on the inside of you and I. We're disciples today. We're sons and daughters on the inside of you and I. We have God.

Now, this summer, I'm going to be teaching over the next several months on the Holy Spirit, hearing from God, what we have, the gifts of Spirit. We're just going to take some time with the Holy Spirit because we got to become more familiar with who God has given us, the gift of the Spirit of God lives in us, and there's so much that we don't know. There's so much that has been unlocked, I'm sorry, has been locked that we need to unlock in our mental realm.

We need to begin to see ourselves like the word says about us. I mean, the word says that we are complete in him. Think about that. Some of you think you're missing something. Well, I'm missing this and I'm missing that. Actually, you're complete in him. You're not missing nothing. Nothing missing, nothing broken. him. In him, you are complete. Now we got to wrap our mind around that. And we got to say, you know what? I'm complete in him.

I have the Holy Spirit on the inside of me and I know him. Or I'm going to talk about how to hear from the Holy Spirit over the next several months and weeks. I'm going to talk about how to hear from your spirit. You know, your spirit has a voice and the Holy Spirit has a voice. And I'm going to show you how to determine which one. Matter of fact, you're hearing voices. Let me just say that. On the inside of you, you're hearing voices.

You're hearing your spirits talking, the Holy Spirit's talking, your flesh is talking, your mind is talking. Pookie and Ray Ray, what they said 10 years ago is in your mind. They talking. What your mom said about you 25 years ago that she didn't mean, but you took it personally. You hear that voice talking. There are voices talking on the inside of you, and we need to find out which voice we should be listening to.

And we're going to talk about that as we go forward. But I want you to know that on the inside of you, if you've received Jesus as your Savior, he gave you the gift of the Holy Spirit. Now, where do I want to go next?

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Let's go to Acts chapter 1, and let's look at verse 5. Acts chapter 1 and verse 5. It says, for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. Pause real quick right there. I was talking to a pastor friend of mine who, he is learning some things about the Holy Spirit. He's in a different denomination, so on and so forth. And he was asking some questions. He's learning some things about the Holy Spirit.

And I asked him, has he been baptized with the Holy Spirit? And he said, no, no, I mean, I got the Holy Spirit, but there's nothing more that needs to take place. And I said, well, if you look throughout the scriptures, once you receive Jesus, you do receive the Holy Spirit to live in you. But there is another sequence that must take place. There is another, how can I say, event that we need to step into, and that's the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Now, Scripture talks about three baptisms. There's a baptism into Christ, which is salvation. There's the baptism into water. And then there's the baptism by fire or the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And I was talking to this particular guy, and he was asking me some questions around it. I said, you have the Spirit in you. But if you haven't received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you don't have the Holy Spirit on you. Because what baptism does is stains you.

The baptism, when water baptism, when we go down, we go down one way and we come up another way. The dead man goes down in the water, the water washes him, and he comes up a brand new man. In the baptism of the Spirit, you get stained with the Holy Spirit. Now let's look at Acts chapter 1 real quick. Put verse 5 back on the screen, guys. If you don't mind, John, who is John the Baptist, truly baptized with water, baptism of repentance with water.

But you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit, with the Holy Spirit, not many days from now. Understand, they had the Holy Spirit in them already in John chapter 20. They already had the Holy Spirit in them. There is an extra step that they need to be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Look at verse six. Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Jesus, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? Now, they're talking about politics.

Okay, look at verse 7. Jesus says to them, it is not for you to know the times or seasons what the Father has put in his own authority. Verse 8, but you shall receive power. Somebody shout power. Power. When the Holy Spirit, watch this, has come upon you.

And you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria and to ends of the earth so Jesus is talking about being baptized by the Holy Spirit they get confused and start talking about politics and Jesus is like I'm not talking about politics I'm talking about power and then in verse 8 put it on the screen one more time guys Acts chapter 1 verse 8 I love it when it says this you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come. Upon you this is the new,

Step right here. The Holy Spirit was already in them. Now the Holy Spirit has come upon them or up. Upon means up on, up on them. So they didn't have the Holy Spirit on them. They had the Holy Spirit in them. Now the Holy Spirit is on you for others. He's in you for you, but he's on you for others.

He says, but you shall receive power. That word receive means to take or do not neglect, do not disregard, you know, take it, receive the power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. Ultimately, what he was telling them is now you're going to have the power of God on you to go everywhere and be a witness.

What is a witness? to someone that has seen something, someone that's experienced something, a witness. You shall be a witness to me everywhere you go with the power of the Holy Spirit on you.

Power, Ability, Efficiency, and Might

Now, I saw this in the Amplified translation, and this really stuck with me, and I've been meditating this all week long. Look what it says in Amplified Classic. But you shall receive power, watch this, ability, efficiency, and might when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you should be my witnesses in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria to the ends of the very bounds of the earth. Notice this power is defined in the classic translation of the Amplified, ability, efficiency, and might.

Say this after me. Ability, efficiency, Efficiency and might. Ability, efficiency, and might. When the Holy Spirit comes on you, he's going to bring with him on you power, ability, efficiency, and might. Now, as I was thinking about this, the word power means boldness. To achieve purpose, power, boldness to achieve purpose. Some people are unable to achieve purpose because they just don't have power. They don't have power, but the Holy Spirit has given you power,

the boldness to achieve purpose. Purpose. Purpose is the reason why you exist. All right. So there the Holy Spirit is going to give us power to achieve the reason why we exist. If you don't know what your purpose is today, I'm going to tell you what your purpose is today. This is good news. This is the reason why you exist. This is the reason why you were brought to this earth. I don't care if you came here by accident.

I don't care if mom and dad didn't plan for you to come. I don't care if mom and daddy don't want you. You got to this earth for a purpose, with a purpose, for such a time as this. This is your purpose. It's found in Romans chapter 8, and we're going to look at verse 28. Look at this. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God. Not to everybody, but to those who love God. How many of you love God?

Then all things are going to work together for good to those who love God and to those who are called according to his purpose.

Purpose so everything gonna be all right if you love God and you're called according to his purpose what is his purpose it's in verse 29 for whom he foreknew he knew beforehand he also predestined or planned for you to be conformed to look like resemble the image the likeness of his son that he might be the firstborn among many brethren here is your purpose are you ready to look like Jesus.

That is your purpose in life, to look like Jesus. I'm trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do in life. What has God called me? And I'm trying to discover what it is that I'm supposed to. Here it is. You're supposed to look and act and sound like Jesus. That's your purpose in life, to look, act, and sound like Jesus. People should look at you and say, there's something different about you.

They may not know how to articulate it. They may not know how to explain it, but they will realize something's different. And when they realize it is, it's different. Now you have made an impact. And an impact is because of the power of the Holy Spirit on your life, causing you to have the boldness to look, act, and sound like Jesus. Come on, somebody say amen. I got a story I want to tell, but I'm hesitant if I should tell this story.

I'm not going to tell the story. All right, so go take a little more time. So our purpose is to look like Jesus and power is the ability or the boldness to achieve purpose. So the Holy Spirit gives you the power to look like Jesus everywhere. You don't have to do it on your own.

You have you're walking around if you're baptized in the holy spirit with the power, to look and act like jesus you have the power to understand the scriptures you know some people read the bible they don't understand they don't have the holy spirit the holy spirit gives you the ability to read the scriptures and and you know there's stuff in the bible i don't understand okay i'm not not that you understand everything there's

stuff i don't really understand i don't preach what I don't understand so you never hear me preach something I don't understand I mean there's stuff there but the Holy Spirit if you work with him he'll begin to show you and teach you and then he'll begin to then then the people you're listening to preach will begin to say things and then clarity will begin to come and you begin to see things a whole lot more clearer than you ever had

before that's because of the power of the Holy Spirit and operation in your life somebody say power now the next adjective there was the word ability. And ability means gifting, talents, skills, right? The capacity to act, right? Ability. I have certain skill sets, certain talents, and I have the ability to act. I don't have a special gifting to play in the National Football League. They're not looking for a 46-year-old running back, okay?

That's not what they're looking for. I don't have that ability. All right. But there are other abilities that the Lord will give you. And those abilities, you need to tap into those abilities. Ask the Holy Spirit. Yes, my purpose is to look like Jesus. But what are my abilities? He'll begin to tell you. He'll begin to show you. Talk to your good friends. What are some things that I do well at? What are some things that come easy for me?

What are some things that frustrate me the most? most because sometimes what frustrates you the most means you may have the answer to what is frustrating you the most you may have the solution to that God may have equipped you with those answers and so you begin to what are my abilities what are some things I'm good at the older I'm getting the more I'm learning about my limitations there are things I'm good at and there are things I'm not good at and the things

I'm not good at I'm just not good at I'm just not good at And so I'm going to focus on what I am good at, and I'm going to get people to help me with things that I'm not good at, right?

Discovering Your Talents and Gifts

And so God has given you special talents and abilities, and he has given you gifts. And the Holy Spirit, his job is to help you discover. None of us is born knowing what our talents and gifts are.

We all have to discover what our talents and gifts are and the holy spirit will help you discover that if you spend time with him begin to ask the right questions he'll help you discover i'm thinking about danika when she first came to the church she's she's an awesome woman of god and then we said you know what we need we need some outreach going and the holy spirit said ask danika i said danika i need you to oversee outreach for us and

danika said i've never done that before. I said, that's fine. Just get started. And she got started. And now she's like, pastor, I love this. I love it. I never knew it was in me. I never knew it was there. I never knew that I love reaching out and helping and I love organizing. I love it. I love it. That's the Holy Spirit. Are you listening? It's the Holy Spirit calling things out of you that you don't know is already there. The Holy Spirit wants to help you discover your abilities.

Now, the next adjective was the word efficiency was that is that right efficiency. Efficiency means accomplishing assignments in minimal time and effort. Ooh, how many of you need some efficiency operating in your life? Accomplishing assignments with minimal time and minimal effort. Efficiency. The Holy Spirit will give you efficiency. Some of you have a lot on your plate. Some of you got a lot going on.

Some of you got a lot of demands and a lot of, I keep hearing in my heart, mouths to feed and a lot of responsibility, a lot hinging on you. And I just declare to you if you receive it, that efficiency will take place in your life, that you'll begin to do things with minimal time and minimal effort, effort that things will begin to operate smoothly for you. And you'll look and say, that didn't take much time. That's called efficiency.

There was one little area of my house I wanted to clean up, and I don't really want to clean it because nobody sees it, but I want to clean it because I want to get it clean, you know what I mean? But nobody sees, so there's no urgency to do it. And I said, I don't really have time to do it. And I said, Holy Spirit, give me some efficiency. And I set my alarm clock, so I'm going to spend 20 minutes Cleaning this little area up, that little area got done in less than 20 minutes.

Why is that? Efficiency. God, with his Holy Spirit, wants to help you do things with minimal time and minimal effort. If you give him a chance, you can get a lot done in a little bit of time. If you just give him a chance. If you give him a chance, he'll help you with things that are heavy on your plate. He'll begin to help you unload some things off of you. because he wants you to experience true life, and God has called the Holy Spirit to be a helper to you.

He wants to help you not only be a witness and not only act like Jesus, but he wants to help you be efficient in your everyday life.

Utilizing Time Efficiently

Time is important. A wasting time is a wasted life because all of our life consists of time. Did you know this? That the average age is 78 years on the earth. Okay? That's the average lifespan. 78. A third of that is spent sleeping. A third. 26 years spent sleeping. We have to sleep though. Okay? So that means two-thirds, we're going to have to get a lot more done. A third, an additional third is spent working.

Working. So we're at the job. We're doing our nine-to-five. We're doing what you know what we're supposed to be doing So you got a third of your life 26 years of a 78 year average lifespan You can't waste it But I'm mad at Pookie and Ray. I can't I can't be mad I've got time to be mad my wife and I ain't talked for three four days I don't have time another time for us not talk for three or four days. We got to get stuff done, right? I don't have time to get offended about that.

I don't have time to get upset about that I don't have time to to argue about that. You got to start looking at your time. You don't have the time You need to be efficient. You need to work on things and resolve things quickly without a lot of effort, because literally speaking, you don't have the time. If you're dating somebody you're not supposed to date, you don't have time to do that. Just go ahead and cut it off. It ain't worth it.

Quit it. You don't have time. If red flags are popping up, never ignore a red flag. Never ignore it. Nope, don't ever ignore that because you don't have time to go down the line with somebody and then all of a sudden you go, the best thing that can happen to you is a marriage and the worst thing that can happen to you is a divorce. Don't have time. And so the Holy Spirit is going to help us be efficient with our time. If we'll lean and depend on him, he'll tell us what to do, what not to do.

And he'll make some things even happen faster than we even anticipated. And my little example of cleaning that little area in my house, that happened a whole lot faster than I even realized, and I'm glad I got it done, efficiency. And the last thing there is the word, I forgot the last one, put it back on the screen.

Extraordinary Strength: Might of the Holy Spirit

Might, thank you, might. Might is the last one. Acts chapter 1 verse 8, might. Might means the ability to get things done with extraordinary strength. The ability to get things done with extraordinary strength. What does that mean? That means that the Holy Spirit is going to help me accomplish things without getting tired. Ooh, are you listening to me? He's going to help you accomplish things and end with full of energy. He's going to help you get through your day.

And you got a lot going on that day. but you're gonna end the day with supernatural strength you're gonna get things done and you're not gonna be wiped out and so tired and fatigued and worried you're gonna you're gonna end the day strong come on somebody say amen to that I think it's really interesting even in the natural when if if when you go work out and all of you should be doing that by the way so So that's why I say if you go work, I say when, when you go work out.

It's interesting to me that when I get done, a lot of times I feel stronger. I feel stronger than when I before I got started. I just feel a little bit stronger. I just went through a workout and I'm stronger after the workout. I believe it's the same way you go through your day and the Holy Spirit at the end of the day, you're going to feel stronger. Now, that don't mean you don't need to go to bed on time. It just means you feel a little stronger to get things done.

This is what might is all about to accomplish assignments with extraordinary strength and the joy of the lord is your what there you go the joy of the lord so you're going to end the day full of joy you're going to end the day excited you're going to end the day thrilled because the joy of the lord is your strength when we receive the baptism of the holy spirit you say pastor how How do we receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit?

Well, all throughout the books of Acts, they lay hands on the disciples that didn't receive the baptism. They received. And you can also receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit just by faith, saying, I receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Why don't you just lift your hands right now and just say that to me. I receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Right there. You receive by faith. There's no different feeling or anything that takes place from that. There's nothing along those lines.

It's by faith the Lord has given me power. He's given me ability. He's given me efficiency. And he's given me might. This is how you receive true life.
