I've got a word for you today, and I feel very strongly about this word. Yes, we can dismiss our children to their class. Children, you are dismissed to your class. Go have fun with Miss Stacy. She'll take good care of you. Glory to God. Amen. Amen. Thank you so much, Zavin. Thank you so much, Kurt, Stephen. Kirsten back there, thank you so much. Robert on the camera, and Alfred, John, and Burrell back there, thank you so very much.

Everybody that serves. Thank you so very much. I'm inspired today to talk about a topic that the Lord's laid on my heart. Back in 2023, the Lord talked to me about this topic, and we had a special Wednesday night service, and we called it the Supernatural Debt Cancellation Service.

And in that January 2023 people showed up on Wednesday everybody brought their biggest debt we had a shredder up here and we just shredded it and believed God to pay off that debt and in that year I was researching in that year over four hundred thousand dollars of debt in our in our ministry in our congregation individuals and families was canceled amen and I just sensed the same anointing on me for that today to talk about supernatural debt cancellation.

Today's title is Four Ways God Cancels Debt. Four Ways God Cancels Debt. As of the fourth quarter of 2024, listen to this, American households collectively carry a total debt of $18 trillion. Approximately eight in 10 household has some form of debt. Eight in 10 have some form of debt. The average mortgage balance, $252,000. 36% of Americans have more credit card debt than they have emergency savings, which is a record high. Americans collectively owed $1.2 trillion in credit card debt.

That's the highest level ever. Five out of 10 credit card holders carry a balance each month. Consumers average credit card balance is $6,700, which is three and a half percent increase from the previous year. The average monthly payment for a new car is $737. The average monthly payment for a used car, you okay over there brother, is $520. The average monthly payment used car, $520. The average car loan link now is 67 months. Student loan debt stands at $1.7 trillion.

And these are just some figures that I researched to highlight the significant debt burden that many Americans carry. And you ask this question, why is pastor talking about money? Why is he talking about debt? Is there something else he should be talking about? You know, the scriptures have over 2,300 verses regarding money. Jesus talked about money more than he talked about heaven and hell combined. Money is mentioned more than faith and prayer is mentioned.

And you see the astronomical debt numbers that I just read. We need to be talking about this. And I believe that God is still a debt canceling God. I believe God is still in the business of freeing us from this bondage. If you agree, say amen. I believe that when this service is through, you'll be something entirely new. Come on, say amen to that. Second Kings chapter four. Let's look at verses one through seven. Second Kings chapter four, verses one through seven.

Certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying your servant my husband is dead and you know that your servant feared the Lord and the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves so Elijah said to her what shall I do for you tell me what do you have in the house she said your maid servant has sold the TV and all the furniture I got nothing in the house but a jar of oil, Then he said, go, borrow vessels. Somebody say, borrow.

Vessels from everywhere, from all of your neighbors. Empty vessels. Do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons, and then pour it into all those vessels and set it aside, the full ones. Look at verse 5. So she went from him, shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her, and she poured it out. Now it came to pass when the vessels were full that she said to her son, bring me another vessel.

But he said to her, there is not another vessel. So the oil ceased. Verse seven, that she came and told the man of God, and he said, go, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons live on the rest. As we dive into and dissect this story, I want you to first to find out that this woman's husband has died and has left her in a pickle. She is in debt.

And I want to encourage every person in here, every father, every mother, every spouse, do not leave this earth leaving your family in debt. Listen to me now, leave this earth free from death. And so he left his wife in debt. And back in that day, if you couldn't pay the debt, they coming to get the kids. Imagine your children now have become servants and slaves because of your debt. And so they came, the creditors came to take the children.

And she goes to the man of God, which is very good. She knew exactly where to go. Go to the man of God. And the man of God says to her, tell me right now, quickly, what do you have in your house? What kind of talent do you have? What kind of gift do you have? Is there a seed? Is there an idea? Is there invention? What do you have in the house? Maybe you have a recipe of some sort. What do you have in your house?

And then he tells she tells him, I just have a little joy, joy. Yes, you got some joy. She ain't got no joy right now. She got a little jar of oil. That's all I have. And, you know, God ain't never used a whole lot of anything to get anything done. He's always used just a little bit. And we're always looking for the spectacular. And God is trying to work with the supernatural. He's trying to look at what do you have in your house that seems insignificant, that seems small to you.

She said, I have a jar of oil. And then the prophet turns to her and says, go and borrow a whole bunch of vessels. Now, I want to pause here for a second because borrowing is not a sin. Now, listen to me, because God can tell you to borrow. He just told her to borrow. We see in Deuteronomy, he tells sometimes the Israelites to to borrow. But I want you to understand this. Hear me clearly. If God is not telling you to borrow. Don't borrow because borrowing is risky. Right.

Borrowing is not a sin, especially if God can tell you, but it's very risky because it can put you in a place where you are in debt. Now, biblical debt is not I owe somebody. Biblical debt means I cannot repay. So borrowing puts you in debt, but biblical debt doesn't mean I owe you. Biblical debt means I cannot repay you. And that is the position God never wants you to be in. During the Great Recession, we had a home in the university area.

Our family was growing, and Stacy wanted to look for a bigger home. I told her during that season, you can go look, but we are not buying anything. I can't stop you from looking. She's a grown woman. But I know we're not going to buy nothing, okay? Because we live in this home, we're upside down in the home. If you remember during that period of time, what you owed was more than what the home, the value of the home was worth. And we were upside down about $10,000, $12,000 on our current home.

And so she was like, I'm going to go look. I'm like, go ahead. But we're not going to buy anything. She said, I'm going to get a realtor. And we we got a family friend. And I said, go ahead. Y'all look all day long. But we're not buying anything because we're upside down. And it doesn't make sense for me to come to closing with twelve thousand dollars just to get out of that home to get a new home. She was like, I'm going to look anyway, because she had bold,

audacious vision, eagerness and faith. She was believing God. And so she convinced me this particular time to meet her at a new development to see a house that was already built. And so we go. She's can you come? And she must have been praying in the spirit because I wasn't going. I told you I'm not even going because we're not buying. And so I said, you know, I'll go this day. OK, I'll go because I love you. You know what I mean?

I'll go this day. And so we go, we step into the model home, we meet our realtor there, and we're going to go look at a house in this new development that had already been built. And as soon as I step into the model home, I go into the master bedroom. I'm just taking, walking, I don't know why I did that. I'm just walking around. I go into the master bedroom, and all of a sudden, the Spirit of God was in that model home master bedroom. I kid you not.

And I stood there, and she looked at me, and she says, I said something's going on with you. What are you feeling? I said, this is our home. I just knew right then, this is our home. She's like, I knew you felt something. I knew it. I just knew it. I said, I can't shake it. This is our home. We get in the car. We never even looked at the other house. We never even looked at it. I don't even know which house it was now because

we ended up buying the house, but I'll tell you that later. We never even looked. I get in the car. We go home. And she said, what do you think? What do you think? I said, we're supposed to build this model home. And she was like, but you said we weren't buying. I said, I know we're not buying. But I felt strong. One day, one day we're going to build this home. One day, one day. And I go to bed that night, and I couldn't shake what I sensed in the room.

And I wake up that morning and I got up early to pray and the Lord said, go get pre-approved and buy that home. Now, understand we're upside down in this home. I want you to hear clearly. I heard from the Lord. Watch this. We're upside down in this home. I'm hearing the Lord say, go get pre-approved and buy the home. I'm like, that doesn't make any sense to me. Because I don't want to get in more debt. I don't want to come to closing with $10,000, $12,000 just to get out of that home.

But I heard clearly, go get pre-approved and buy that home. Now, I'm hearing the Lord tell me to borrow money. And so we go to the bank, so-and-so, get pre-approved. They approved me to have both homes. Yes, you can buy that home too and keep this home. That's how much I got pre-approved for. So I'm like, okay. But I keep hearing in my heart the Lord saying, buy that home. Buy that home. Finally, we went, got a great price on the home, and I went to the lady.

Her name was Kim, and Kim was representing the housing area, and our realtor was with us, and we signed the paperwork to buy the home. And I'm knocking. My knees is knocking. But faith comes by hearing, and hearing by what? The word of God. Not something I came up with. This was countercultural to even what I wanted to do, but the Lord had spoken to me. So we bought that home, and now we own two homes. This home had to be built, and so it's going to take a few months to build.

And I'm like, Lord, I don't know why. I don't want to be a landlord right now. I don't know why you told me to do that. One week later, I get a call from my parents. They lived at the time in Chicago. They said, we're moving to Charlotte. I said do not look for a home I have a home for you they're like for real I said we just bought a new home and I have a home for you just come move into this home.

They came so quickly, the way things happened with them and their job and the way it happened, that we all had to live together for a little bit. This is how fast this was moving in this really, it was a really smaller home, and our family's growing. And we're living together, and I love my parents, and I honor them, but I could not wait to move on out. And we're living together in here for a couple of weeks, just until our home gets built, that sort of thing. They ended up staying in that home.

And to God be the glory, the market turned around and we ended up selling that home and making a whole lot of money on it. Come on, somebody say amen on that. But the Lord told me to borrow like he told this lady borrow. But I want to let you know, borrowing is risky because you could put yourself in position where you're unable to repay. I believe it's Psalms 3721. If you don't mind, put that on the screen, guys. Psalms 3721 says, the wicked borrows and does not repay.

So if you cannot repay, Scripture calls you wicked. Wicked. So the wicked borrows and does not repay. Borrowing is not a sin, but I want you to understand that borrow if the Lord tells you to borrow. And I want to debunk this once and for all. God can tell you to borrow. It's in scriptures. He can tell you, you borrow if he tells you to. But if he doesn't tell you to, believe him. He can tell you to. To get it the way he wants to give it to you.

And in this situation, he wanted my parents to have a place to stay. That was the whole purpose. It wasn't even really about me. It was get out of this house so they can have a house to live in. You see that? He was looking out for them. And so they ended up staying. They ended up later on. They stayed several, I mean, a long time. And then, like I said, the market turned and we ended up selling that home. And praise God, we made a whole lot of money off of it.

Here's the key, borrowing is risky, but only do it if the Lord tells you to do it. And if you're in a situation right now, I don't want you to feel burdened. I don't want you to feel condemned. I don't want you to feel rejected. Today, we are gonna declare that your debts are canceled in Jesus' name, amen? I said amen. Now let's take a look here. I want you to see something in this today. And the first way, the first way God wants to cancel your debt found in Deuteronomy

chapter 15. Let's look at verses 1 and 2. There are four ways God cancels debt, and God is still a debt canceling God. In Deuteronomy 15, 1 and 2, it says, at the end of every seventh year, you must cancel the debts. Somebody say, cancel the debts. Cancel the debts. Of everyone who owes you. Look at verse two. This is how it must be done. Everyone must cancel the loans. Say cancel the loans. That they may have made to their fellow Israelites.

They must not demand payment from their neighbors or relatives for the Lord's time of release has arrived. I believe it's time for release in Jesus' name. Those of you who've been burdened and full of debt and payment after payment after payment, it's the Lord's time for release. And so the debts are canceled. God is still a debt canceling God. In Luke chapter 7, 41 through 42, Luke chapter 7, 41 through 42, then Jesus told this story.

A man loaned money to two people, 500 pieces of silver to one and 50 pieces to the other. But neither of them could repay him. So in this situation, they could not repay. That's the debt that you're not supposed to be in. But watch this. So he kindly forgave them both. He kindly forgave them, canceling their debts. Who do you suppose loved him more after that? Well, the fact of the matter is the one that was forgiven of much is going to love much.

And that's why it's amazing when you see someone that was a alien running the streets, acting crazy, and they come to Jesus and they're so fired up and you're calm down. No, no, no, no. They realize what they've been forgiven of. And the one that already thought that they was goody two-shoe don't really know what they've been forgiven of. So they continue to act crazy. No, if the one that's been forgiven of much is going to love much. And here we find out that God wants to nullify.

He wants to cancel your debts. He wants you to have your loans canceled and he wants, he no longer wants people to demand payment of you. Somebody say amen to this. I'm trying to get this into your heart so that you begin to think that God wants to cancel this debt. God wants to nullify this debt because he is still a debt canceling God. The second way God wants to cancel debt is he wants to forgive debt. And a lot of Sometimes when debts are forgiven, it is because of an emotion.

Someone or something has felt a certain way about you. And they're saying, you know what? You no longer owe me anymore. In Matthew 18, 27, Matthew 18, 27, then the master of that servant was moved with compassion. Watch this. Released him and forgave him the debt. Notice the motive for the forgiveness Moved with compassion.

Released him and forgave him the debt This type of forgiveness usually is a relationship A relationship that you have Maybe it's a relationship that you have with the person Maybe it's a relationship you have with the bank Maybe it's a relationship you have with an auto owner or whatever the relationship may be, someone God can move upon their heart to release you and forgive you of that debt. In Matthew 6, 12, Jesus said, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

Notice, as we forgive those that owe us, God will begin to forgive your debts. There's a situation where a friend of mine said that someone owed him some money and it was thousands of dollars. And he and his wife called him and said, you know what? Merry Christmas. You no longer owe us this thousand dollars. And then there was some debts that he had. And he said it was like instantly I got a call from over here. And they said, you know what? You no longer anymore. Amen.

When you forgive your debtors. Then I believe you set yourself up as a candidate to be forgiven of your debt. So number one, debt is canceled. Number two, in no particular order, debt forgiven. I want you to see here that the Lord will also reduce debts. Debt can be reduced. Look at Luke 16, 5 through 7. Luke 16, 5 through 7. So he invited each person who owed money to his employer to come and discuss the situation. He asked the first one, how much do you owe him?

The man replied, I owe him 800 gallons of olive oil. So the manager told him, take the bill and quickly change it to 400 gallons. And how much do you owe my employer? He asked the next man, I owe him a thousand bushels of wheat, was the reply. Here, the manager said, take the bill, change it to 800 bushels. So notice we see here that debt is being reduced. God has the ability to reduce debts. Now, I want you to get this today because I want this to be a seed planted on the inside of you.

That you got to get frustrated with just owing and owing and owing and paying and paying and payment. And just saying, God, I declare these debts be canceled. I declare they be nullified. I declare they be forgiven. And I declare that they are reduced in Jesus' name. There's biblical precedent for your debts to be reduced. There was a particular time that I had owed some money to an institution.

I was in college and I had owed some money. I still don't even know how I owed this money, but it was a couple thousand dollars or something they said I owed, and I got a letter in the mail, and they had reduced it to $300. We reduced this to $300. I just cut a check. Here's the $300 or whatever. It was reduced because of the goodness of our still debt-canceling God. Amen. I said amen. And last and certainly not least in Scripture, we have precedent for debts being paid in full.

Debts being paid in full. If we look at Philemon chapter 1, 18 and 19, Philemon chapter 1, 18 and 19, Paul says, if he has wronged you in any way or owes you anything, charge it to me. I, Paul, write this with my own hand. I will repay it. Notice someone else paid off the debt. God can move on your heart to pay someone else's debt off.

I thought I'd get a better amen to that. I thought y'all would say, man, I'm looking forward to not only me being debt free, but me paying someone else's debts off. Let me say it again. God can move on your heart to pay someone else's debt off. Amen. Paul said, I will repay. Say that. I will repay. I will repay. Or you can pay the debt off yourself. We find out the end of 2 Kings 4, verse 7.

When she told the man of God what had happened, he said to her, now sell the olive oil and pay your debts and you and your sons can live on what is left over. God gave this woman an oil business. Now she is selling oil making that money and paying off her own debt god wants to take something insignificant in your life something that you believe to be very small use it for his glory and begin to not only pay off your debt start a business with it praise god

and pay off other people's debts as well. Say amen to that. And so God wants, it's his desire for you to be debt free. Let me say it again. It is God's will for you to be financially free. It is his will for you to no longer serve the debtor, but to truly owe no man anything, but to love him and to serve him. And next week we'll get into that a little bit more, but it is his will. It's his desire for you to be free from these debts.

And we find here in Mark chapter 11, if we look at verse 22 through 23, Mark chapter 11, 22 through 23, Jesus answered and said to them, have faith in God. Say that. Have faith in God. Say it again. Have faith in God. Say it one more time. Have faith in God. Have faith in God. How are your debts going to get canceled? Have faith in God. How are they going to get forgiven? Have faith in God. How are they going to be reduced?

Have faith in God. How are they going to get paid off? Have faith in God. Now watch this. He says in verse 22, for verily I say unto you, whosoever shall say unto this mountain. Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe those things which he says shall come to pass. He shall have whatsoever he says. Now in this verse, I want you to notice that nothing is going to happen until you begin to speak it.

There's a mountain which is an insurmountable problem, circumstance. It's in your way. In order for the mountain to be moved, we can't wait for God to speak to the mountain. There's a lot of teaching where, God, you're the one that's going to speak to the mountain. And you're the one that's, God told you to speak to the mountain. He said, you're going to have to say. And he did that. He said the word say three times. And he used the word believe one time.

So you're going to have to say it three times more than you believe it. Amen. You're going to have to speak and you're going to have to say it. You're going to have to talk to it. You're going to have to speak to it. You're going to have to communicate to it. You're going to have to command it to go in Jesus' name. Now, there's an anointing on you for debt cancellation, and I release that anointing on you right now if you receive it for debt freedom and cancellation.

The anointing is on you, but you're going to have to speak to that debt yourself. I cannot speak to your mountain. You're going to have to speak to your mountain because your mountain knows your voice.

And truth be told whether it was you or someone else you put that yourself in that predicament and now you're going to have to speak your way out of that situation but you're anointed to get out of it with burden removing yoke destroying power to get out of that situation and so today i want you to stand with me today and we're going to make some declarations we're going to talk to our debt We're going to talk to that mountain. We're going to speak to those things that are hindering us.

You got to get to the point. You got to get frustrated about it. I'm tired of making this payment. I'm tired of just getting these letters in the mail and getting these calls. Well, don't you owe? You owe this. You owe that. And you're trying to hide from the phone and not answer the calls. You got to get frustrated with that. I've been there. I've been there. And I actually, I hate Owen people. I despise it.

And you got to get there because once you get there, you'll see that there is another place, another level you can ascend to in financial freedom. And we're going to help you get there. Say amen. Now, I want you to say this after me like you mean it. Not like you sleepy. Not like you don't want to be here, but like you mean it. We got to speak to this situation because the devil's not playing with you.

And that this debt is hindering you holding you back from doing what God's commanded you to do it's the debt and it's time for us to speak to the dead are you ready say this after me we the body of believers of True Life Fellowship Church declare that we are sons and daughters of El Shaddai. The God of abundance and no lack. We call these debts paid in full. In Jesus' name. And on the authority of his holy word. Debt. We speak to you. In Jesus' name. Be paid and be gone.

Dematerialize and cease to exist. We call these debts reduced, paid in full, canceled, and forgiven. We declare that we are debt free. We are the lender and not the borrower. We are the head and not the tail. We are blessed coming in. We are blessed going out. The Father daily loads us with benefits and causes his blessings to overtake us. Wealth and riches are in our house, and we increase more and more. God has given us the power to get wealth to establish his covenant on the earth.

We are plenteous in goods. For God has given us richly all things to enjoy. Now I want you to pause now. I want you to catch your breath because we're not done. Some of y'all getting tired. Oh, I'm tired of saying that. Then that debt's going to remain. You got to talk to this thing and command the atmosphere. Command your mind to change. And command the devil to get off of your finances.

Now get your breath and let's get back on this the blessing of the Lord has made us rich, and adds no sorrow with it we are joint heirs with Jesus Christ and Abraham's blessings belong to us we walk in God's wisdom, exercising sound judgment and stewardship over this wealth. We sow bountifully. Therefore we reap bountifully. We give and is given unto us. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. Watch this. We owe no man anything. But to love him. The devourer is rebuked.

For our sakes. He cannot destroy. The fruit of our labor. Now say this like you mean it. We are. Now I want you to get a little bass in your voice here, alright? We are. The debt free. Redeemed of the Lord. And we say so. In Jesus' name. Come on, somebody shout about it. Hallelujah. Free, free, free. Free, free, free, free. I call you free, free, free, free. Online, be free. Be free, be free. In Jesus' name. And if you're already out of debt, release your faith for somebody else to be free.

Somebody else to be free in Jesus' name. Glory be to God.
