In the episode of the we pay homage to the first settlement of Sydney, THE ROCKS, an area you used to be able to smell before you caught a glimpse of it.

It was the birth pace of the Sydney we know today and it is definitely filled with the ghostly manifestations of its historic past.

The Rocks was once replete with gangs, drunken sailors, and prostitutes.

To add to its seedy past, the bubonic plague broke out in Sydney at the turn of the 20th century, and The Rocks was especially devastated, with thousands of the neighbourhood’s buildings having to be demolished.
