The Harper Family Massacre

In early July 2003, the city of Bakersfield, California, was rocked by the horrific slaying of 5 members of the same family, the youngest of which was just six weeks old. When police entered the house, the the crime scene initially seemed like a home invasion gone wrong, but a closer look revealed that nothing had been stolen, and the killings had been so aggressive and brutal. Someone wanted this family dead. With their main suspect offering a solid alibi, the investigators tasked with solving these murders knew they needed to call in reinforcements and dig deep in order to capture the murderer and to put this monster behind bars. This is the tragic case of the Harper family murders.
