300 Center Street in Findlay, Ohio was a house of horrors. Many people were in and out of there, but no tenant was as innocent or tragic as Vera Jo Reigle. Cheri Brooks, AKA Sugar Babe, was the ring-leader of the “Brooks Clan,” a trashy “Crip” family of misfits who wreaked havoc in this small town. Referred to as “Frequent Fliers” by 9-11 and the local police, it seems that many of the Brooks’ tragedies and maladies could have been avoided. Kevin and Amy watched the documentary Goodnight Sugar Babe so that you maybe don’t have to. It’s a sad, gross, heart-breaking story.
