For this version TRST BLCK WMXN, I’m continuing conversations with Black women in search of the lessons that our grandmothers and mothers taught us.

I’m sharing sacred space with Black women in my community to listen deeply as we talk about who shapes us -- and how does that contribute to the work we do — whether it’s social justice work, creative work or ministry.

These conversations assess a moral formation but also bridge gaps and uplift the oral tradition of storytelling.

I’m not simple asking the question, What does it mean to trust Black women? I’m embodying and practicing trust while in a posture of deep listening.
