It wasn't until 15 years after my first mushroom experience at 16 did I embark on my second psychedelic trip as an adult.
The experience was beautiful but also exhausting at times. The overwhelming nature of psilocybin can be quite real, especially if you're new to it. I happened to have a sizable amount for this experience (half an 8th) for someone for all intents and purposes was basically brand new to all this.
In hindsight, I realize I needed to work through some healing, some self-realization, and some energetic work to get to a place where Magic Mushrooms could finally be genuinely FUN. But it takes work on that soul level to first clear yourself of some of those self-limiting beliefs that keep us down. That keep us small. That keep us controlled.
