Afghanistan: Setting The Table

This series is inspired by “The Valediction: Three Nights of Desmond,” the new book by husband and wife Paul Fitzgerald and Elizabeth Gould – because, as publisher Kris Millegan says, “The folks in the shadows who lie, cheat and steal to manipulate us must be exposed” – and, as Ms. Gould has said, “Charlie Wilson’s War is the propaganda story. We lured the Soviet Union into Afghanistan, to trap them in their own ‘Vietnam.’ The mujahideen we funded were not freedom fighters. They brutalized the Afghan people.”
