Lisa, we have heard a lot of the recent reporting that we now have like a record number of sellers listing properties, and it sounds like it is a really difficult market for many sellers, a lot of opportunity for buyers. What are you seeing and experiencing?
We are seeing that there are amazing deals for buyers out there right now. We just helped a couple of buyers get deals that up to maybe five, six, seven years ago would not have even been possible. We just had a client buy a condo where it's a very strong buyer's market and they paid one hundred thousand dollars less than what they paid for recently. It was an amazing,
amazing deal. And the reality is there's a lot more buyers than there are sellers getting deals, So it is def an advantage for buyers and the smart buyers, which most of my buyers right now, have resources, they see the potential, are out there looking at property right now.
And this is so important that people are informed and able to make good decisions because it is a very selective market in terms of opportunity, isn't it.
It is not every neighborhood is a hot buyer's market. It really is about seeing the opportunity, knowing where those opportunities are. There are still sometimes multiple offers for a hot property, So it really takes somebody who understands not just the overall market, the national market, that even down to which neighborhoods are the hottest and which ones have the best opportunities for.
