Episode description

The Against All Odds crew begin the show by wishing producer Eddie Spaghetti a happy 30th birthday as he celebrated over the weekend by seeing Pearl Jam twice and meeting up with superfan of the show Heath Centazzo.

The guys recap a strange Kentucky Derby as the #21 horse (80-1) Rich Strike wins as some people thought the number 2 horse had won. Next, the guys recap their Betaches from over the weekend but it’s not all bad as Cousin Sal hits with Nikola Jokic reportedly winning his second consecutive MVP. Sal credits seeing on Twitter a poll of NBA experts who all voted for Jokic and jumped on those odds. Parlay Kid believes Jokic won’t win another one and this year was tough to compare who was truly the most valuable between Jokic, Joel Embiid, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Next, it’s a recap of the NBA playoffs as games have really been headlined by officiating. The guys make their picks for Monday’s games; Boston @ Milwaukee and  Memphis @ Golden State. Brother Bri finds a new trend he likes for three-point bets in the first few minutes. Harry reveals he bought out of a Grizzlies bet once Ja Morant was injured for $11.

The Islanders fired their head coach Barry Trotz and the Parlay Kid believes he should have gotten more of an opportunity and that if the Rangers don’t win this series against the Penguins it will be devastating for the franchise.
