Cousin Sal and the Degenerate Trifecta react to the breaking news that Paul George will miss the play-in game after testing positive for Covid-19. Sal desperately needs the Clippers to win and makes the argument this game should have been played yesterday and blames the schedule makers.
Brett Koremenos pays off his Cap of Consequences bet on Covered in Glory and had a surprise visitor as Harry joined him. Thankfully, to distract him from the Paul George news, Sal can focus on his Mets same game parlay. They quickly preview tonight’s Play-In games starting with Atlanta @ Cleveland (+1.5) and then New Orleans @ Los Angeles Clippers (+1) as Harry tries to switch to the Pelicans in an attempt to help Sal but Brother Bri and Parlay Kid remain optimistic about the Clippers can pull it out.
Next, the guys run down all the NBA Playoffs first-round matchups that are officially set starting with the Eastern Conference; Brooklyn Nets/Boston Celtics; Toronto Raptors/Philadelphia 76ers, and Chicago Bulls @ Milwaukee Bucks. Then it’s over to Western Conference as Cousin Sal sees the Golden State Warriors as the most undervalued team in the playoffs as they take on Denver Nuggets in the first round. Plus, Parlay Kid still thinks the Dallas Mavericks can pull out the series with an injured Luka Doncic against the Utah Jazz who have had chemistry problems with their star players, and finally the Minnesota Timberwolves/Memphis Grizzlies. The guys also make their NBA Finals predictions and Sharp Tank picks.
3-time NBA Champion and former NBA All-Star, BJ Armstrong joins the show to discuss reliving the Chicago Bulls dynasty thru the Last Dance documentary and the intense competition between the team that included betting on whose luggage would come out on the conveyor belt first. BJ tells the guys why the Michael Jordan/Lebron James who is the GOAT question is unfair and gives his prediction for the NBA Finals and MVP. BJ also weighs in on what happened with the Los Angeles Lakers this season and his advice for Russell Westbrook.
