How do we live moment-to-moment making wise decisions? The answer is given to us in Ephesians 5. Paul tells us to "be filled with the Spirit." What does this look like? What exactly is being "filled with the Spirit?" Our ability to live wisely each day is dependent on getting this question right.
This Sunday we hear Paul testify to the essential elements of the gospel while seeking to lead a man to Christ!
This week we bring our series on the Lord's Prayer to a close. Jesus gives a parable after the prayer to illustrate our need to continually bring our petitions to our gracious, heavenly Father. Take time to read Luke 11:5-13 in preparation for Sunday.
This week we come to the final request in the Lord's Prayer, "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." Those of us who have come to Christ, know that although we have been redeemed and credited with the righteousness of Christ, we still battle the flesh and the devil. This request should be our continual prayer to God.
God is gracious and merciful to save us! He reaches down into our helplessness with light, hope, and help. He not only rescues us, but He also keeps us secure until the end. The Father, Son, and Spirit all play a role in our salvation. Amazingly, God has also ordained that you and I play a part in helping each other make it to Heaven safely! We are going to talk about that this Sunday! The church body is in desperate need of one another! We need to make sure that we are connecting in life-giving...
As believers, battling sin is a regular part of our daily experience. Through the power of the gospel we can have victory over sin, but what do we do if we fall? Join us this Sunday as we study the phrase, "Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors." Read Matthew 6:9-14 in preparation for the gathering.
Join us as Pastor Brian speaks on the next segment of the series on The Lord's Prayer . We must learn to pray for God's Kingdom to Come.
