How Can You Improve Your ADHD if You Don't Understand it?

I have ADHD, there's a good chance you are listening to this podcast because you too have ADHD!  Now tell me, how do you explain to someone about your ADHD, the why's the how's the what's about this disability if you have such a hard time understanding what you know about it?  learning and comprehending the information that is out there for you to learn can be extremely hard to do, especially considering our condition.  So how can you possibly succeed in explaining your ADHD to anyone if you can't figure it out for yourself?
