Are you like me, and tend to walk away from confrontation? But sometimes enough is enough, and you gotta speak up! Speak your truth, but never attack or accuse. You can speak your truth and still be nice about it. Love yourself enough to respect and honor your own truth. While of course still working on yourself daily. And don’t forget when you start a hard conversation, start by apologizing. Put your ego aside and apologize for your part. Where there is an argument both are at fault. And last but not least, “maak van je hart geen moordkuil” (dutch saying..means don’t hold it in, because when you don’t open up, you only make things worse, till you explode.
