During this episode, we will talk about the mindfulness part of self-care. We’re going to go beyond talking about our exterior bodies and talk more about caring for our internal world. Eartha uses analogies during this “gardening” episode. Gardeners sometimes use the senses of touch, smell, and taste to determine how healthy plants are growing. From the assessment, nourishment, and water are given to the plants so they can thrive and be healthy. Please try to use the same perspective when we refer to our self-care. In mindfulness, it is healthy to recognize our triggers for stress and anxiety. If we deplete ourselves of proper nutrition, proper rest, and proper relaxation time, our internal balance begins to topple. That can cause physical illnesses, mental stress, and underproduction in our external world. Join me and explore how to refill our internal world with fresh energy, just like filling a water bottle with fresh spring water.
