Episode description

In this episode, we continue our mission to change the United States World Happiness score within our area of influence. Before I share how Finland used negative data to change its mental health system, I wanted to share a gift of mindful practice with you before we start researching our action plan. During our time together, I share how negativity is a part of our primary survival skills. We can choose how to use negativity and be aware of not allowing negativity to sabotage our success. Research shows that there is an increase in sadness, worry, and stress around the world. Anxiety becomes a health concern when it grows and interferes with life activities. Be open to learning what triggers negative and positive responses. Self-reflect: What are you willing to learn? Ask yourself: “Am I willing to be flexible to learn and do something different with negativity by turning negative into a positive response to change my sphere of influence?”
