Episode description

When we experience disasters and personal loss, we long to regain our inner peace and serenity.  When we had our landslide, I began a spiritual journey that resulted in my book "Rainbows Over Ruins" and a small booklet "Your Survival Guide: 12 Tips to Gain Inner Peace."  Lewis Tagliaferre suffered a painful loss that sent him on his own journey to find a basis for living in bad circumstances - what many people call the dark night of the soul.  His search resulted in a new belief system, "Theofatalism."  He writes that you can face the joys, challenges, struggles and death in life with five steps through new Reality Accommodation Therapy:  Accept what is.  Detach from the desire for things to be different.  Transcend the need for control.  Let go and let God.  Assume all decisions are given as learning experiences.   You can find most of his books on Amazon and his website www.schooloftheofatalism.org.  The book we are discussing today is "When Bad Things Happen..Finding Peace and Serenity in Theofatalism."
