Rose Sweetwater did not have an easy childhood. Her parents split. Her mom barely cared for her and her sisters. Her father had to kidnap his girls to get them out of a bad situation. Her step-mom was jealous of them and treated them poorly. As a result, Rose never felt truly loved. Her poems tell the story of the healing journey she undertook.
