Elvina Scott knows how to deal. She's also a big deal; in the lives of her running community and her family.
Elvina finished her first 50k ultramarathon less than 5 years ago and completed her first 100 miler last year, Eastern States 100. What is more impressive than that is her commitment to her family and the well-being of her daughters. Elvina is a full time caregiver to her daughter Colby, who suffers from various disabilities. She grew up dancing ballet and diving, but found running as a stress relief and way to connect deeply with the part of herself she felt she was losing.
