Episode 33: The New Coach Controversy

June 30, 2021 It's not your typical Dave & Dia podcast today. In fact, we need to warn you that this episode contains difficult subject matter. With the hiring of Chauncey Billups as the Portland Trail Blazers' new coach, comes some controversy surrounding his 1997 sexual assault accusation and settlement. It's a topic that is currently gaining attention both locally and nationally. Dave and Dia sit down to talk about this difficult subject matter and how the Trail Blazers did (or didn't) handle the press conference yesterday. Dia speaks candidly from her own personal experience and Dave has a lot to say as well. The rainbows and unicorns aren't making an appearance in this one, but we feel that it's important conversation and we hope that it brings new perspective and understanding.
