One of the hardest things about getting young people into the trades is finding them somewhere to 'make a start'. Often, with little experience and a less developed resume or application skillset, young tradies are coming up against it when looking for their start in their career. We chat to a guy who's developed a service aimed at solving this problem for young tradies AND at helping employers find the right apprentices and trainees for their business at the same time. Sounds like a win:win and we're sure this will spread to the rest of the country real soon!
