All the wireless carriers are in full 5G buildout mode. Most of that buildout, at least in the current stages, involve macrocells on towers and other support structures.

But every location is different and requires a tower that fits the available land, and yet supports the current and future equipment required to deliver wireless coverage from that site.

This means that different types of towers are needed in different situations.
