Join us as we watch an episode of “The Big Time” a BBC TV show from the 80s that was once billed as a “grown up Jim’ll Fix it”. In this particular episode, mild mannered church going school teacher Keith Rawlingson learns about Kayfabe the hard way, when he gets booked to wrestle at the Royal Albert Hall. An achievement and an honour, especially seeing as he’d never set foot in a ring until 3 months before the bell is rung for Round 1.
He’s being trained and advised by the best of British wrestling though, Johnny Saint, Big Daddy, “Cyanide” Sid Cooper and Peter Kaye… no, not that one.
