Episode description

Legendary CFL quarterback Chuck Ealey talks about growing up in Portsmouth Ohio, going undefeated in BOTH his high school (18-0) and college (35-0) football careers, getting passed over in the 1972 NFL draft and coming up to Canada (“The only thing I knew was that it was north of Detroit!”), leading the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to the 1972 Grey Cup as Rookie of the Year, learning about the necessity for block heaters in Winnipeg, playing for the Toronto Argonauts at Exhibition Stadium, his 2022 induction into the US College Football Hall of Fame, and his diplomatic response as to which team he cheers for during the Labour Day Classic!
