Dr Jess Davies is a staff anaesthetist at Austin Health who has a proven track record of being passionate about implementing environmentally sustainable practices into healthcare while still delivering a high standard of patient care.

While a trainee she started a sustainability research network called TRA2SH that has over 370 members in Australia, NZ and UK. Find out more about them here: https://www.tra2sh.org/

She is an honorary clinical fellow in the University of Melbourne’s Department of Critical Care, an active member of their sustainability and planetary health network and is embarking on a PhD exploring how implementation science can improve the uptake of sustainable practices in perioperative settings.
