In this episode, we sit down with Jared Cabral to talk about all things beekeeping.  He tells us all about the different ways you can learn and acquire your own bees, how setups can vary, and things to do to help prevent your bees from swarming.  He explains some of the differences between species of honey bees and how different harvest times throughout the year will yield different types of honey and why.  We talk about the unique location and resources for the bees near his current hives and where the name ‘Hockomock Honey’ comes from.
