And I'm Sam, and it's time for today with Todies, the show that's packed full of. Challenges and facts. And talking of facts, Tim, do you want to hear the answer to my fantastic fact from yesterday's episode?

Well, it comes so naturally, doesn't it? Our bodies make sure we blink loads to keep our eyes clean, healthy, moist, which means slightly wet because we don't want our eyes to be too dry.

It's really important for us to believe. Not if you're in the middle of a staring contest.

Yeah, exactly. That's the opposite of what you want to do in a staring contest. Although it is very hard. In fact, some people. That the world record for not blinking was set by a person 14 years ago in a staring contest here. No way. Apparently it was a big competition and a Forty minutes and fifty nine seconds.

Fifty nine seconds. That's like the duration of six episodes of Blue.

That is a long time not.

about blinking to talking about bubbling because I think I can hear something coming our way.

It sounds like non-stop bubbling to me. Sounds big, sounds bubbly, kind of buckety. So it has to be.

THE BIG BUBBLING BUCKET OF CHALLENGES Yes, our big bubbling bucket is full of games, facts, stories and surprises.

And every day it sets us new challenges, which we need to find first.

Now I can't help but notice there's a long bungee cord at the side of the bucket. So if you don't mind, I think it might be quite fun if I do a bungee jump into the bucket today.

Oh yeah, that sounds really exciting to him, but what actually is a bungee cord? Oh

Well it's a really, really long rope that stretches. So when the rope reaches its full length you kinda bounce back up and then down again and then back up and then down until the rope finishes moving. It's like a big elastic band. And do you know some people do bungee jumping off really high bridges, but today it's into a bucket.

Brilliant! Okay, our first challenge everyone is Do elephants meow.

Ah brilliant! This is one of my favourite challenges!

Now then everyone, this is how the challenge works. I'm gonna tell Tim some facts about an animal.

And my job is to guess what the animal is. And if you think you know what the animal is too, then you know what to do, listeners, shout it out, because this challenge is always easier with your help.

Okay, Tim, and all of you listening at home, here we go.

Straight away. Yep. I know it. I'm gonna wait for the next clue. Before I guess.

Okay. Tim, this animal can grow up to 2.7 meters tall, which is around the same height if you stack 24 tins of beans on top of each other.

You think it's a giraffe, okay?

Well you just said it's really tall.

Mm-hmm, two point seven meters tall.

So imagine twenty four beans on top of each other in their cans.

Well that's kind of a bit as well like a door and a half, isn't it? Yeah. Oh.

That's good.

Maybe giraffes are bigger than that, but giraffes don't like it. Yeah, I do I still know what it is, but I'm definitely gonna have the next clue, please.

It's due to their ability to survive a long time without water.

Blizzards aren't two point seven.

You think it's a lizard? Is that your guess?

But you just said that it lives in deserts and can survive for a long time without water. This is really tough now. Okay. I I need my next clue, please.

Your next clue is this. Are there worlds large? But they can't

Okay. Yeah, I think I do know what it is. This goes back to the first clue about the eggs. I think I do know this, but I'm not gonna guess until after I've heard the last clue.

Okay, hang on a minute. There's a few facts in here that don't really match.

But This is quite amazing. If this animal can do everything that you said it could be. And I've got it right, then this is amazing. I'm gonna guess what do you think, listeners? An animal that lays the world's biggest eggs is 2.7 meters tall. Can survive in deserts without water for a long time. They're the world's biggest bird, but cannot fly and can run 45 miles an hour. I think it might be an Uh oh ostrich.

Tim, listeners. Today's animal is an ostrich! Well done Tim! And well done to all of you at home that guessed the right answer too. I always find it so interesting. The ostriches can't fly Tim, but they can run really fast.

Yeah, I didn't realise they were that big as well. Two point seven meters tall.

There's another ribbon tangled around the tiny symbol. Okay. Okay, and if I learned anything from last time, I'm pretty sure that if I look at the ribbon, I'll see. Yeah, of course I can. It's today's second challenge on the ribbon.
