Bulls’ scrum gives them firm footing

The Stormers' scrum will come under intense scrutiny when they clash with the Bulls in the United Rugby Championship on Saturday, agreed 'To The Last Drop' hosts Liam Del Carme and Brenden Nel. The last time the teams met the Stormers back pedalled in that facet and a repeat of that kind of retreat will almost surely put paid to their chances of advancing up the points table this weekend. The Stormers are in 10th spot on the URC log and apart from a win that will sustain their challenge for a place in the top eight, victory for the visitors will be a boost to morale.

The Lions find themselves in similar territory and though they are at home to the Sharks they will start underdogs. They Sharks are adept at winning at altitude and they may bring some of the Springboks along for the ride.
