Life is indeed about learning.  Sometimes we learn early, and sometimes not so early in life.  Some folks marry five or more times before they figure out they are really bad at picking a mate.  Some folks buy a lot crap they don't need, and never figure it out.
Me, well I've made my share of really big mistakes, especially when it comes to buying something I thought my wife wanted.
Yes sir, I did want other men (husbands) before me have done, and that was to secretly run off and make a big purchase thinking I was hitting a homerun, but to only learn the hard way,.....I struck out before ever getting out of the "on deck" spot.
I pulled the blindfold off, and she said,  "I wasn't serious about that."
