Episode description

Jonathan Haidt is a social psychologist and long time New York Times bestselling author. He’s a professor at NYU’s Stern School of Business, and holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2024 Haidt published The Anxious Generation, a book looking at the great rewiring of childhood. He has launched a public health campaign under the same name, dedicated to addressing and ultimately ending the youth mental health crisis.

In addition to this work, his research more broadly explores the foundations of morality, aiming to help people understand each other, live and work near each other, and even learn from each other despite moral differences.
