Welcome back to episode 59 and the beginning of a new two week topic, Stanford University! We get a little true crime adjacent this week as there was no actual crime committed for this story. Of course if you tried to do this today somebody would be going to jail. We are of course talking about the Prison Stanford Experiment conducted in the 1970s with full university approval. If you ever wondered what would happen if you gave people the freedom to be completely in charge of other people we’ve got an answer for you. This experiment went to hell real quick so get learn your prisoner number, get in line, and get ready to do some time in the Stanford County Prison.
