Episode description

Episode #24; High-Functioning Alcoholism and Women

I had the honor to chat with Noelle Van Vlierbergen, founder of the website, Sober Moxie and author of The Sober Leap, Practical Wisdom to Create an Amazing Life Beyond Addiction. Noelle is a Certified Integrative Health and Addiction Recovery Coach, helping professional women find joy in sobriety by exploring a more holistic approach to self-care and stress management.

In this episode, Noelle shares her journey to sobriety (she is 7 years sober) and talks about being a high-functioning alcoholic and how she came to the realization that she had to quit drinking. Noelle also talks about the pressure that women put on themselves to hide their drinking and how women can change their drinking behaviors and take the sober leap!
